The Welsh Ministers are aiming to contract with a supplier to help understand fuel poverty in Wales and support our plans to tackle fuel poverty from 2021 to 2035.The purpose of the contract is to provide:•An assessment of the level of fuel poverty in 2021 in Wales using the Welsh Government’s primary measures;•An assessment of the level of fuel poverty based on measures used by other UK Governments as a benchmark;•Advice on the number of households requiring home energy efficiency improvements to achieve the targets set out in the Welsh Government’s plan to tackle fuel poverty 2021-2035;•Advice on interim fuel poverty targets which could be adopted by the Welsh Government to be achieved by 2025 and 2030; and•The estimated lifetime carbon savings achievable improving the home energy efficiency of households living in fuel poverty based on the projected required number of household improvements to meet the fuel poverty targets.The projections and outcomes of the contract must be completed by March 2022 to meet the departments deadlines.NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=111278.
