In 2021 DCCI developed a new and ambitious 5 year strategy from 2022 to 2026 and Operational plan. The Council’s vision, mission and values feed into the objectives that are assigned across strategic pillars – the main areas of focus for the Council in the coming years.•Building capability and capacity to deliver resilient growth•Championing design across Ireland•Leading and demonstrating sustainability•Delivering a future-proof CouncilVision:By 2030, the craft and design sectors will have increased their contribution to Ireland, economically, socially and culturally. Mission:As the National Agency for craft and design in Ireland, we will support designers and makers to develop their businesses in a sustainable way, and advocate for the societal benefits of craft and design. Values:In living these values (Impact, Ambition, Integrity, Collaboration) we’ll emphasise the centrality of the user and the value of craft and design in developing and sustaining a fulfilled life. In order to set the Council up for success and positioning it to deliver the full potential of the Strategy it is imperative that the correct structures, resources and capabilities are in place within the Council. The Council seeks support through consultancy for the following key tasks•Support on Operational Plan Realisation•Support on Organisational Structure Design•Map activity with Organisational Structure, agree KPI’s for each Pillar•Develop Job Descriptions for FTE allocation•Ongoing implementation support over the life of the Strategic Plan – on the basis of 20-30 days per annum
