Under Article 19 of the EU Procurement Directive, the Northern Housing Consortium (NHC) wish to appoint a‘supported business'; ‘supported employment programme' and/or a ‘supported factory' via a reserved contract;for the provision of furniture services to NHC members across the UK.The services required may include the manufacture, distribution, recycling and repair of household furniture andgoods; and should be accessible to current and future members of the NHC.It is anticipated that this reserved contract will enable NHC members to increase the number of employmentopportunities for disabled people within their communities; and support the Government's disability employmentagenda at a national level.
