CONTRACT-9WHC-MHC2UM.We are tendering for a replacement forecasting system, also referred to as the Future Flood Forecasting System (FFFS) as this presents the opportunity to design a flood forecasting system that is nationally consistent, has greater resilience and is more efficient and effective to operate. In order to realise business benefits soonest, our aim is to implement the FFFS (core capability) by the end of 2016 and start the transition of Users from the old to the new system. Further to this, the system should be easily configurable to provide the capability needed to support the forecasting service into the future.
