Project CLUBFOOT will provide a Through Barrier Imaging System (TBIS) capability to replace several aging in-service systems. The capability will be used by Explosive Ordnance Disposal & Search (EOD&S) Operators on Permanent Tasks including Military Aid to Civil Authorities (MACA) operations and Force Elements (FE) at readiness for Contingent Operations (CO) who encounter Explosive Ordnance (EO). The CLUBFOOT capability will be the main the means within an Explosive Ordnance Disposal and Search (EOD&S) Team to identify Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs), where appropriate confirm device construction and ensure device subcomponents are safe to be entered into the forensic chain.
