The Police and Crime Commission for Dyfed Powys, South Wales and Gwent is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced service provider who is a Garage Equipment Association (GEA) member organisation to carry in accordance with the PUWER 1998 Regulation 6 (159) to carry out the inspection, maintenance and calibration of the garage equipment in the workshops based in the three force areas. The service provider must be able to cover the whole geographical area of the three Welsh forces, which covers South, East, West and Mid Wales sometimes at short notice to ensure frontline work is not disrupted.The contract will be awarded to one service provider for a period of three years with an option to extend for up to a further subject to demand and satisfactory performance, which will be monitored throughout the life of the contract.NOTE: The authority is using eTenderwales to carry out this procurement process.
