Descriptions

NLB require an experienced contractor to supply, install and commission an air source heat pump at Firth View. The heat pump is to be installed as a drop-in replacement for the existing Worcester Bosch 40Cdi gas boiler. The heat pump should be installed in the approximate location of the existing boiler. The heat pump is required for central heating only. The Firth View complex consist of three traditional stone buildings that have been converted into offices. The main building which was originally a house and two outbuildings. During the conversion these buildings were insulated, and double glazing was installed. Drawing C-OBA/124 of the installed insulation is included within the quotation documents. Using tools provided by the PSDS it has been estimated that a 19kW heat pump will be required. However, this must be confirmed by a survey by the contractor during the site visit, a larger heat pump may be required. NLB will not be responsible for any associated costs for the site visit. Direct hot water will be supplied by electrical under tap water heaters, to be supplied and installed by the contractor.
