NOTICE OF AWARD OF a compact, low-vibration, Stirling cooler with optical access A Stirling cooler is required for active cooling, and electrical and optical characterisation, of semiconductor lasers, providing 4W lift at 50K and 8W lift at 70K, and providing active control of sample vibrations.
