The Monks Orchard Road Flats comprise three like-for-like properties (North House, Middle House and South House) constructed in the 1930s of traditional masonry cavity wall construction. Each property provides 4 self-contained Flats over two floors, with a communal entrance, lobby and stairwell. Each Flat consists of 3 bedrooms, a shared WC, shared shower, a kitchen and a lounge. The properties were built to provide nursing accommodation for the main Bethlem Hospital site, however at present only South House presently provides staff accommodation; it is proposed to refurbish both South House to provide improved accommodation.
