The Works comprise the Disability and Equality Improvements to communal areas of blocks of flats within the Borough of Southend. Works will be identified through Access Audits and specific orders placed on a site per site basis. Typically, the works may include flooring, mats, staircase nosing’s, handrail protection, signage, footpaths, ramps, replacement front screens, powered openers, replacement door closers – this is a general list only and some sites may include low levels of works only.
