Contractors shortlisted on the basis of this suitability assessment questionnaire may be invited to tender for a number of bridge maintenance & refurbishment contacts in Galway County in 2022.Each contract will involve maintenance & refurbishment works to one or more structures throughout County Galway.The works include but are not limited to:- Masonry repair and repointing using lime mortar;- Installation of tie bars and soil nails;- Application of gunite and shotcrete;- Grouting using lime based and cement based grout;- Concrete repair and installation of bed lining;- Parapet repair;- Repair of Structural Steel;- Painting of Structural Steel in situ;- Water management;- Vegetation Clearance;- Carriageway paving;- Footway and rubbing strip construction;- Drainage;- Associated Traffic Management;
