The Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board covering North Wales and the Anaeurin Bevan Health Board covering Gwent have a requirement to appoint a waste collection and disposal contractor to collect and appropriately dispose of all general waste from their acute sites (Ysbyty Gwynedd, Ysbyty Glan Clwyd, Ysbyty Maelor Wrexham and the Royal Gwent Hospital) as well as all community sites within their responsibility.The contract award will potentially be split four ways covering collection in the North West, North Central and North East areas of North Wales and Gwent in South East Wales. Bidders are free to decide which area they wish to be considered for and will not be penalised should they only submit for one specific area.
