The Prince’s Trust helps change young lives in the UK. We give practical and financial support to disadvantaged 13-30 years olds, and help them to develop skills such as confidence and motivation. We work with young people who have struggled at school, have been in care, are long-term unemployed or have been in trouble with the law. The Prince’s Trust has supported 825,000 young people since it was founded in 1976. The Trust supported over 56,000 young people last year.In Wales 650 young people were supported in 2015/16 on our Get into programme.Get into ProgrammeThe Get into programme aims to give young people who are work-ready but do not have vocational skills, the opportunity to develop the relevant vocational skills and/or experience to enable them to move into a sustainable job in a specific sector of work.
