Durham Constabulary required a Corporate Geographical Information System (GIS) solution. Key capabilities include:1. Integration with our Command and Control System (Sopra Steria ‘Storm’);2. Crime Analysis functionality including integration with other third party tools such as IBM i2 ‘Analyst Notebook’;3. Production of high-quality cartography using Public Sector Mapping Agreement data;4. Routing calculations;5. Compliance with Open Geo-spatial Consortium (OGC) standards;6. Gazetteer provision to BS7666;7. Provision of APIs to allow GIS functionality to be incorporated in other applications;8. ‘Self-Service’ and automation features.Durham Constabulary have tendered a Framework Agreement and established a supplier for this provision on behalf of other authorities.
