From 1.4.2012, the Greater London Authority took responsibility for the land and property portfolios of the London Development Agency and the Homes and Communities Agency's holdings in the capital. The Greater London Authority ('GLA') and its wholly owned subsidiary Greater London Authority Property ('GLAP') operates a diverse property portfolio and wishes to secure an Estate Management Contract ('the Contract') with a high quality provider to manage this holding on the GLA's behalf. The GLA portfolio includes: — Business, residential or mixed use properties; — Vacant and derelict land and /buildings; and — Operational assets — Various miscellaneous non-operational assets.
