Award of the following :- Working with educational groups from Flying Start to the University of the Third Age, GLP is seeking to deliver a range of educational and experiential learning activities through two Lots, as detailed below, to facilitate connections to and understanding of Gower’s rich and distinctive heritage and landscape.Although primary schools may participate, we are also keen to explore opportunities to engage other age groups – young people (ages 16 – 25), adult learners e.g. through University of the Third Age or other adult learning services, and also mixed-age family learning groups.In summary the project will:-•Engage schools and / or education centre/s in a programme of educational activities that provide rich experiences of Gower’s heritage and landscape along the four main programme themes of:- Gower and the Sea- Natural Gower- (Making a) Living on Gower- Historical GowerThese themes can be broken down to focus on specific sites / communities / villages, periods in Gower’s history, particular habitats / species special to Gower, livelihoods, traditions, built heritage, Gower dialect, etc
