Awarded
GMCA 992 Consultancy Services Levelised Cost of Electricity (LCOE) in GM Phase 2 (P-006)
Descriptions
This scope of work study will focus on land-based grid connected opportunities for wind and solar generation, generation on buildings is being considered as part of separate studies. The scope of works will support GMCA's understanding of the technical and economic feasibility for grid connected solar and wind in and around the GM region and how to identify and rank sites. In order to capitalise on attractive sites that might be identified in the sample and which we might want to advance quickly, the Supplier will provide costs for an optional scope that includes work to advance opportunities to a certain stage of development (PART 1a). The PART 1 study and the LCOE components will also demonstrate the significant and determining factors of the cost of electricity to inform a strategy/methodology for identifying and ranking potential sites (PART 2)
