Grant Funding Opportunity: Building Research Capacity in the Third Sector

This is a grant of up to £215,000 to improve the skills and capacity of VCSE to undertake and/or commission high quality evaluations, thus improving the evidence base about what works with offenders. Organisations should note that the grant is being given for this very specific purpose; and not to deliver an evaluation service. A single provider will be awarded the Grant agreement from March 2013 – 31 March 2014. £50,000 of the grant funding is to be spent in FY 2012/13. The remainder of the grant funding is to be spent in FY 13/14. It is the Authority’s intension to award the grant agreement to a single provider. However, the Authority reserves the right to consider awarding the Grant agreement to more than one bidder.
