By utilising some of the remaining Additional Restrictions Grant (ARG) funding provided by central Government, West Lancashire Borough Council would like to provide some wider business support opportunities. In line with the Vision and Priorities (Support businesses to adapt and prosper & Become a Greener West Lancashire), we would like to support our local businesses achieve a 'greener' industry standard that demonstrates environmental responsibility and sustainable operation and are seeking an external provider to deliver this initiative. This would be a contract for a service delivered to local businesses which enables local businesses in the retail, hospitality, and leisure sectors to improve sustainability and environmental responsibility and in doing so, achieve an industry standard accreditation. Key Specifications • Provider can provide industry standard accreditation to SMEs throughout West Lancashire across various sectors (Accommodation, Hospitality, Leisure, Retail & Tourism) • Provider will deliver training, support and the final accreditation to approx. 100 businesses • The project can be delivered between April 2022 and March 2023, with the support in promotion by West Lancashire Borough Council • Previous experience of delivering similar accreditation initiatives on behalf of a Local Authority
