A greenhouse is required to house photobioreactor equipment, including the downstream process items. The project is being funded by WEFO monies and Swansea University is seeking a real and substantial in-kind contribution from suppliers.The greenhouse should be of substantial size in order to effectively house two photobioreactors; including an array of acrylic tubes, tanks, and equipment to assist in the growth and harvesting of algae cultures, using natural and/or artificial light.Swansea University is looking for a large commercial/industrial style greenhouse, attached to 2x 40ft shipping containers (C1 – Upstream Lab and C2 – Downstream Process) at either end. The dimensions of the greenhouse should be 40ft (12m) i.e. the length of the containers; by 147ft (45m).NOTE: The authority is using eTenderwales to carry out this procurement process.
