Grounds Maintenance and Landscaping Contract.

Descriptions

The works involved are a grounds maintenance and landscaping contract for two housing organisation's in Glasgow- Copperworks Housing Co-operative and Spire View Housing Association. The works will include:1) grass cutting to common areas and private gardens;2) the maintenance of planted areas including trees, bushes, shrubs and hedges;3) The tending of hard standing areas which will include weed spraying and de-littering.The majority of the works will be seasonal between the months of April and October/November depending on seasonal weather conditions. There will however be some winter works which will include de-littering, pruning of hedges, bushes etc and possible snow removal and gritting.The contract will be formed initially for three years with a view to extending for an additional two years, depending on performance and cost negotiation.
