Introduction Choices is a programme offering bespoke support to those furthest from the labour market and facing complex barriers before they can move forward in life. We are funded by The National Lottery Community Fund and the European Social Fund. The programme is currently funded until September 2022. Further information on the programme can be found at www.choicescumbria.co.uk Brief The Choices Management Team (employed by Groundwork NE & Cumbria) invite tenders for a suitable premises to house the Choices Management and Delivery Team until September 2022. The premises must have: •Enough space to accommodate the management staff in two offices, space for 5 delivery staff to have desks, private meeting room, space to deliver training and support sessions to groups of programme participants •24 Hour Access •10+ on site free parking spaces to accommodate staff, visitors and programme participant's vehicles •Secure and with an alarm system installed •Participant areas of the building to be accessible in line with DDA regulations •IT and Telephone connections and have option to install own comms, IT server etc. •Must be in a central location in Workington, close to public transport links and easily accessible Submissions Agents / Landlords are required to provide a bid outlining: •Details of properties / office space that they feel is suitable, subject to the above requirements •Any relevant testimonials / references •Full contact details The following criteria will be used to evaluate submissions: •Value for money - 60% •Suitability - 30% •Additional benefits, i.e. located next to or with shared conference / meeting room space, staff canteen, kitchens - 10% Bid prices must clearly show costs of NET, VAT and GROSS Bids should be submitted to Tamsin Beattie via email to: tamsin.beattie@groundwork.org.uk by 12 Noon on Friday 17th January 2020. A hard copy should also be sent to Tamsin Beattie, ROAD Partnership Lead, Groundwork North East & Cumbria, The Longhorn Building, James Street, Cumbria CA14 2DF The partnership will score, select and look to appoint and notify both successful and unsuccessful bidders by Tuesday 21st January 2020, with a view to moving into the successful, suitable premises sometime in Early 2020.
