GSS23902 - Power Sector Market Insights and Data

Descriptions

The Department of Energy, Security and Net Zero (DESNZ) is looking to procure a subscription, starting in April 2024 (estimated), to provide regular reports on trends and news in the electricity supply, electricity retail (domestic and non-domestic), and electric vehicles sectors. Expected outputs would be a combination of regular publications, briefings, newsletters, statistical publications, datasets, and models provided by email or available on a provider's website. At this stage, the Department is conducting an expression of interest to gain a further understanding of the market. All interested suppliers are to review the expression of interest document attached to this notice and provide their response to FMprocurement@uksbs.co.uk no later than Monday, 13th November at 4pm. For the avoidance of doubt, this is not a call for competition. This notice has been issued as part of early market engagement for the market to express their interest in supplying this requirement. Not registering an interest shall not prevent any supplier participating in a future procurement if this route is proceeded with, nor is it intended that any information supplied as part of the expression of interest shall place any supplier at an advantage in a potential procurement process.
