Guildford Economic Regeneration Project - Electronic Data

Descriptions

GBC require a supplier to provide data as per the specification documents. A suitable alternative proposed dataset and methodology to that currently listed in this tender using the Trip Information System used by National Highways could be acceptable, if demonstrated that the methodology and dataset proposed could supply the relevant data to be able to answer the below 4 questions. 1. What potential is there for existing road vehicular traffic to shift to a more sustainable mode? 2. Are the existing park and ride facilities in the right place and are there enough spaces? 3. How much of the traffic within the town centre is travelling through (via and not stopping) as oppose to stopping and staying within the town centre? 4. For those parking within the town centre public car parks or park and ride facilities, which car parks are drivers choosing (compared to their origin)? The proposed bidder is asked to advise how they would best propose this electronic data be provided and the sources of this dataset, including how they intend to meet the specification (Document 7), if their methodology is different to that in the original specification.
