The project consist of the deepening of the existing inner harbours consisting of rock (granite)dredging and where necessary associated drilling and blasting pre-treatment.Quay wall strengthening involving the installation of secant piles and reinforced concrete re-facing of existing masonry walls.The demolition of a steel cantilever bridge structure and associated abutment.Extension and re-alignment of 2 No jetty structures.Formation of land reclamation using dredged material recovered from the inner harbour works.
