Hazel Court in Swansea provides well-appointed apartments and communal facilities for over 55s. When originally built it was the first of its kind in Wales, offering one and two-bed apartments as well as an on-site gym, hair salon and restaurant, which is open to both tenants and the local community.There are currently 120 spacious one and two bed apartments which provide independent living with the option of flexible care and support. A neighbouring development, Ty Derw, is near completion with a further 43 one and two bed apartments, which brings the total number of apartments to 163.Catering services are currently under used and require a financial subsidy from Family Housing.
