Hertfordshire County Council is currently out to procurement for the provision of Lead Agency Services for the Hertsmere East Group of Children's Centres plus Development and Testing of Integrated Service Delivery Models. The Lead Agency for the Hertsmere East group of children’s centres will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of the children’s centre core purpose. The core purpose of children’s centres as defined by the Department for Education (DfE) is ‘to improve outcomes for young children and their families and reduce inequalities between families in greatest need and their peers in child development and school readiness; parenting aspirations, self-esteem and parenting skills; and child and family health and life chances’. In addition the lead agency will develop and test models of working with health service providers (specifically the health Visiting service) in order to inform any future development of an integrated commissioning and delivery model for services for children aged 0-5 and their families. This procurement is an Open (one stage process). Suppliers wishing to take part in this project are invited to “express interest” which will give access to the full procurement documents in the e-tendering system. To be considered as a Bidder you must complete and submit a Bid by the deadline of 12.00 Noon on Monday 23rd November 2015.
