Rousay, Egilsay and Wyre Development Trust is seeking tenders for the supply, installation and after-care of domestic heating devices as part of the Heat Smart Orkney project. By using grid-smart systems and technology, the project aims to utilise a proportion of curtailed wind power to directly power new, efficient domestic heating devices installed in participating properties and operating as a secondary source of heating to existing systems.
