Brief description of works are detailed below, however any company interested in bidding for the works detailed must obtain full tender documentation (i.e. PQQ document, Air Handling Specification, Boiler Plant Specification, Prelims and Tender Document, Replacement of Central Ventilisition drawing, repalcement of central heating and HWS calorifiers- wet plant room drawing and repalcement of central heating and HWS calorifiers- dry plant room drawing) by contacting Carl Jones via the contact details shown in section I of this notice. The Mechanical Services work comprises the supply, erection, connection, commissioning, testing and setting to work all that is necessary for the mechanical services installation. The scope of work within Chirk Leisure Centre:A. Remove existing floor mounted air handling unit with all fans and interconnecting ductwork together with fresh air external louvre.B. Cut back LPHW pipe work in plant room.C. Install new air handling unit and modify new ductwork to suite.D. Reconnect existing LPHW heating circuit to heater battery and pool water circuit.E. Disconnect existing electrical connection to existing A.H. unit.F. Reconnect new electrical connection to new air handling unitG. Upon completion fully commission and test all new and modified systems.WET SIDE BOILER HOUSEA. The contractor shall dismantle and remove existing 8No. modular gas fired heating boilers.B. The contractor shall remove ALL existing LPHW heating pipe work.C. The contractor shall remove the 2No. existing copper vertical HWS cylinders.D. The contractor shall install 3No. floor mounted natural gas fired heating boilers together with 3No. ranges of flue pipe work and all new heating distribution pipe work and circulation pumps within the boiler room.DRY SIDE BOLER HOUSEA. The contractor shall dismantle and remove existing 1No. combination gas fired heating and HWS boiler.B. The contractor shall remove ALL existing LPHW heating pipe work.C. The contractor shall remove ALL hot and cold water pipe workD. The contractor shall install 2No. wall mounted gas fired heating boilers.E. The contractor shall supply and install new ventilation to the dry side changing rooms.DRY SIDE AND WET SIDE BOILER HOUSEA. The contractor shall provide a new heating pressurisation unit and expansion vessel.B. The contractor shall provide and install 1No. new HWS pressure set and expansion vessels.C. The contractor shall remove and cut back the existing bolier room gas pipework prior to reconnection to the new boilers.D. The contractor shall remove all existing controls and control panels and provide and install new automatic control and control panels.
