Final evaluation of the GO Wales Programme (January 2009 to December 2014)Tender reference: T05HE/2013/14The Higher Education Funding Council for Wales (HEFCW) wishes to let a contract for the final evaluation of the current phase of the Graduate Opportunities Wales ( GO Wales) Programme. GO Wales (www.gowales.co.uk) is the brand name of the graduate employability and skills programme which is sponsored and managed by HEFCW and delivered by Higher Education Institutions ( HEIs) in Wales. GO Wales is funded by the European Social Fund in West Wales and the Valleys, and by HEFCW in East Wales.The programme to be evaluated began in January 2009, and delivery will continue until 31 December 2014. The programme has already been subject to a process and mid term evaluation, with reports published in 2010 and 2012 respectively, and these are available on the HEFCW web site (www.hefcw.ac.uk ).HEFCW is now seeking a further and final evaluation which will build on and complement the work already carried out, and assess the impact of the programme.We are interested in receiving pre qualification questionnaires from organisations that have experience or knowledge of evaluating ESF funded projects or projects similar in nature to GO Wales/ in the general area of skills and employability, We are also interested in receiving pre qualification questionnaires from organisations with experience or understanding of project / programme evaluation generallyWe anticipate that the contract for this work will be awarded during March 2014 and will run until June 2015. Should the lifetime of the GO Wales project be extended for any reason beyond March 2015, it may be necessary to extend the period of this contract in order to comply with the condition attached to the project grant to provide an end of project evaluation.Award of this contract will be subject to a satisfactory financial evaluation.If you have any queries about GO Wales or the contract please contact Jackie Cresswell-Griffiths, Head of Skills & Employability on Jackie.Cresswell-Griffiths@hefcw.ac.uk.HEFCW will be short listing interested suppliers using a Pre-Qualification Process. Register your company on the eTenderwales portal (this is only required once)- Browse to the eSourcing Portal: www.etenderwales.bravosolution.co.uk- Click the “Click here to register” link- Accept the terms and conditions and click “continue”- Enter your correct business and user details- Note the username you chose and click “Save” when complete- You will shortly receive an email with your unique password (please keep this secure)2. Express an Interest in the tender- Login to the portal with the username/password- Click the “Open Access PQQs” link. (These are Pre-Qualification Questionnaires open to any registered supplier)- Click on the relevant PQQ to access the content.- Click the “Express Interest” button in the “Actions” box on the left-hand side of the page.- This will move the PQQ into your “My PQQs” page. (This is a secure area reserved for your projects only)- Click on the PQQ code, you can now access any attachments by clicking the “Settings and Buyer Attachments” in the “Actions” box3.
