DCC wishes to establish a framework of pre-qualified and suitably experienced contractors with experience in civil engineering and highways construction that can be used by Denbighshire County Council.The Authorities anticipate procuring (via mini-competition processes) a wide range of civil engineering works up to the value of GBP125,000 per project under the Framework, which may cover (but will not be limited to) the following :Drainage and service ducts;Kerbs, footways and paved areas;Fencing, gates and stiles;Road restraint systems (vehicle and pedestrian fencing, parapets, guardrails and handrails);EarthworksRoad lighting including CCTV masts;Electrical works for road lighting;Structural concrete;Brickwork, blockwork and stonework;Bridge expansion joints;Waterproofing for structures;Landscape and ecology;Maintenance and painting of steelwork;Pavements – sub-base, base courses, surfacing, cold milling and saw cutting;Traffic signs and markings;Site clearance;Preliminaries – Offices/stores for Employer and Contractor and traffic safety and management.It is intended that between 8 and 12 contractors may be appointed to the framework.
