HMCTS Outstanding Data Anlysis

Descriptions

In HMCTS' National Statistics and MI data, it is reported that there are around 0.5 million outstanding Magistrates' cases. Following some initial investigations at a local level, evidence has been identified that suggests this number is likely higher than the number of cases which are live operationally. HMCTS is therefore seeking a service provider to complete the following review activities: Conduct a review of the outstanding Magistrates' caseload of circa 0.5 million data entries Assess the magnitude of the disparity between the outstanding workload that is reported and the workload that is live operationally Review of the data lineage from Libra through to Libra/Aramis MIS , A&P BI Server, MI and published statistics. This to include review of code and interview of local data experts. Deliver a report setting out data lineage and business rules used for HMCTS review and records. Develop recommendations for changes that should be made to derive the outstanding caseload until the move to Common Platform is completed Reconcile the figures so HMCTS can report the correct figure for outstanding cases Reconcile what and how much of the outstanding data needs to be archived
