Following on from the 2008 Town Centre Healthchecks study, the newly established Holywell Town Partnership wishes to commission a detailed appraisal to clearly identify the issues causing or contributing to the decline of Holywell town centre, and in particular those factors inhibiting commercial interest in the town; and from this appraisal to recommend realistic measures and actions to improve the vitality and vibrancy of the centre.From the issues identified, the study needs to provide appropriate actions (short, medium and long term) that can strongly aid the Town Partnership in the development and delivery of a long term sustainable action plan for Holywell that could bring physical improvement, boost business vitality, encourage commercial investment and attract more visitors and customers to the town.
