Portsmouth City Council — the 'Council' — intends to award a contract for the design and construction of of new build residential properties comprising 3 no 1 bed DPU flats, 5 no 2 bed 4-person flats and 2 no 3 bed 5-person flats along with associated car parking and gardens at land off of Huntsman Close, Wecock Farm. The Council requires completion and hand over by January 2022 and the estimated value of the contract inclusive of design and works activities is approximately GBP 1.6 million. The Council will enter into contract via lot 3 (GBP 5 million-10 million) of the Main Contractor Framework established by Hyde Housing Association (OJEU Contract Notice 2019/S 148-363391) utilising the direct award call-off option on a 2-stage open book contracting basis.
