Housing Management Orders - Landlord function
Descriptions
Local Authorities (LAs) have a legal duty to ensure certain privately rented properties are licensed and all privately rented properties are safe, as defined under the Housing Act 2004. In some instances where properties cannot be licensed or due to the hazardous condition of a property, a LA may take legal action to pursue an Interim Management Order (IMO) and ultimately a Final Management Order (FMO) under Part 4 of the Housing Act 2004. Liverpool City Council, Wirral MBC and Sefton MBC appointed Regenda Homes who will manage properties that meets this criteria on their behalf.
