Tenders are invited for the supply of services in respect of quality Housing Related Support Services for:Emergency Crisis Interventions for those people who need immediate housing support to prevent rough sleeping and experiencing homelessness:— Lot 1: Emergency accommodation provision for young people (16-18 years).— Lot 2: Emergency accommodation provision for people at risk of domestic abuse.Recovery and Re-ablement for those people requiring specific support with drug and/or alcohol problems or those returning to the community from custodial sentences or those presenting with a mental health issue:— Lot 3: Provision of a medium intensity support service provided as accommodation based support.— Lot 4: Provision of a high intensity support service provided in managed/controlled accommodation environment.All accommodation must be safe, secure and appropriately located in and serve the geographical area of Derby City (excluding Derbyshire).The development of the recovery and re-ablement service specification has been undertaken in line with existing drug and alcohol treatment 'continuum' models to demonstrate strong congruence between treatment stages. This approach will see successful Service Providers having a strong alignment to local criminal justice, drug and alcohol treatment and wrap around services. The 2010 National Drug Strategy states the importance of using a whole systems approach whereby recovery can only be delivered through partnerships of which housing in a key component in addressing the needs of the whole person.The successful supplier will be responsible for providing this service and liaising closely with the Contract Manager.The contract will be for an initial two and a half (2 1/2) year period [30 months] Estimate start date of contract 1.10.2013 and expire 31.3.2016. The Council may at is sole discretion offer to extend the contract up to a further 3, one (3 x 1) year periods subject to satisfactory performance, appropriate approvals, outcomes, funding availability, price and need for the service.Total maximum contract period is five and a half (5 1/2) years.Approximate annual total contract value (including all lots) is approximately between 800 000 GBP and 1 000 000 GBP.
