Bridgend County Borough Council would like to invite tenders for an on site housing related support service, including the provision of a 24 hr community emergency alarm monitoring service, based at our new Extra Care scheme. The Extra Care facility will include 39 flats offering high quality housing, domiciliary care and housing related support services to older people within Bridgend.The Extra Care Housing Scheme will offer housing related support that helps service users increase control over their daily lives, improve independence and prevent social isolation. This is an exciting opportunity for organisations to be part of Bridgend's first Extra Care development. Tenderers are advised that the on site housing related support element will be for all 39 flats within the scheme, Which offers one hour of support to tenants, including emergency alarm monitoring service to cover the scheme 7 days a week, 24 hours a day".
