How to E-Tender Workshop and Provider Engagement for Floating Support Services

Bridgend County Borough Council intends to, in the future, procure floating housing related support services for the following vulnerable needs groups in the County Borough of Bridgend as part of the Supporting People programme:•Young People with Support Needs (16-24)•Older People with Support Needs•People with Substance Misuse Issues•People with Mental Health issues•Homeless/Potentially Homeless People•People with Offending History•People with Physical and/or Sensory DisabilitiesPrior to any procurement a ‘How To Tender Workshop’ is being provided by Bridgend County Borough Council with the support of Business Wales to educate providers on how to complete tenders electronically.This engagement session is in advance of any procurement exercise, and as part of the engagement process Bridgend County Borough Council seeks the views of providers to identify realistic service models.Details of the service outcomes required and general parameters will be available on the day for discussion.The date of the workshop is Friday 24th October 2014 – The Waterton Centre, Bridgend – 9.00am – 12.00pmThere is a maximum of 50 places available and a maximum of 2 personnel per organisation who can attend.Provider engagement 1-2-1 sessions of 30 minutes will be arranged after this event.10 Sessions between 0900-1630hrs are available on a first come first served basis.Attendance at the How to Tender Workshop is a prerequisite of allocation of a provider engagement 1-2-1 sessions.Providers who have booked an engagement slot and do not attend the workshop will have their engagement slot given to the next provider on the waiting list.Provider engagement sessions of 30 minutes are available from 09.00am - 16.30pm on Tuesday 28 Oct 2014.Instructions to suppliersIf you would like to book a place on the workshop or an engagement session with a place on the workshop please click on the hyperlink below by 12 noon Wed 22 Oct 2014.https://www.business-events.org.uk/events/how_to_e_tender_floating_support_gweithdy_sut_i_dendro_cymorth_arnafiol#datesAdditional InformationPlease note the link will direct you to booking the Supplier Event on Friday 24th Oct 2014 - Please complete, in the special requirements box on the booking form, if you would like to attend the one to one sessions on Tuesday 28 Oct 2014.
