Hydrotherapy Pool LocationsSerennuNevill HallYsbyty Ystrad FawrThe following checks are carried out at each of the above pools during a 6 monthly service visit (where the relevant equipment is installed).Filtration and PlantCarry out a general check of all plant to ensure there are no leaks.Check the strainers are sealing properly and that there is no requirement to replace “O” rings.Check pumps are running correctly and there is no overheating or vibration present.Switch off plant, and check the re-start of all plant works correctly.Check all safety features and alarms are working correctly.*Check the operation of balance tank sensors to ensure correct operation.*Open balance tank and check that it is clean and free from deposit notify management of corrective action.Check operation of UV sterilization and supply and replace lamp, quartz and wiper as per manufacturers’ recommendation.Check the operation of all valves.*Check the flow meter and its operation.*Undertake a backwash of the filters and record all readings.Check the filters are operating correctly.*Check the automatic air release valves.Check the pressure gauges.*Check the heat exchangers and booster pump.Check all pipe work and supports.Chemical DosingCheck and calibrate the control panels.Supply and replace pH probe annuallySupply and replace Chlorine copper electrode annuallyCheck Chlorine dosing system and rectify faults.Check acid dosing system and rectify faults.Check PAC dosing system and rectify faults.Check the operation of dosing pumps.Check operation of multi function valves.Check dosing lines.Check day tanks.Check bulk tanks.Check sampling stations.Check dosing electrical and float interlocks.Water QualityComplete a full set of water tests and report findingsCalculate Langelier IndexCompile service report for recordsAdditionalAttend quarterly meetings at SerennuEngineer helplineSame day and weekend call outs* Items that are not relevant to all pools or not checked every visit or that can only be checked when pool operational conditions allow.
