Project aim:To assist Anglesey Council’s Adult Social Care Service in implementing the technical recommendations identified to integrate Social Care and Health on a local and regional basis.Set up co-location multi-disciplinary teams on Anglesey consisting of Social Care and Health Care professionals accessing specific applications on recommended tablet hardware.Current situation :Co-location site 1 – North AngleseyLocation : Modern GP SurgeryAn office has been identified for the co- location staff from Social Care and Health Care. Furniture is in place.Co-location site 2 – South AngleseyLocation : Council owned Residential HomeAn office has been identified for the co-location staff from Social Care and Health Care. Furniture is in place.Additionally third co-location site probable and fourth possible within the project timescales.Main tasks for co-located staff that are Council Social Care staff:1.Manage the installation of landlines in both sites.2.Manage the purchase and installation of printers,scanners, etc for the co-location teams.3.Manage the purchase and upgrading of mobile phones to smartphones to receive e-mail and take pictures.4.Manage the allocation of Vasco tokens to enable staff to access central fileservers holding relevant documents.5.Manage the building and delivery of Lenovo Thinkpad Helix for the Social Care co-location staff.6.Installing, and testing systems and processes to ensure the Social Care staff are able to access relevant Social Care applications7.Provide training for the staff in the use of Lenovo Thinkpads8.Ensure a Frequently Ask Questions (FAQ) documents is produced and available to staff and kept up to dateMain tasks for co-located staff that are Health Board Care staff:1.Manage the installation of landlines in both sites.2.Manage the purchase and installation of printers,scanners, etc for the co-location teams.3.Ensure that Health Care staff receive a Dell laptop to work with initially with a view to convert to Lenovo Thinkpad Helix at a later date within the project timescales.4.Assisting Health ICT staff in installing, and testing systems and processes to ensure the Health Care staff are able to access relevant Health Care applications5.Ensure a Frequently Ask Questions (FAQ) documents is produced and available to staff and kept up to dateGeneral tasks:1.Work closely with Health ICT in implementing ICT at the co-located Team locations in line with agreed timescales.2.Advice on possible system improvements to improve efficiency.3.Attend meetings at various levels to provide updates on various tasks allocated.NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at http://www.sell2wales.gov.uk/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=14215.The buyer has indicated that it will accept electronic responses to this notice via the Postbox facility.
