IT Assist provide a centralized shared IT service to NICS Departments and ALB’s. The service includes the supply and support of Windows desktops and laptops for use on the secured NIGOV network. IT Assist intends to offer an additional service where Public use Kiosks can be managed and deployed without compromising existing NIGOV security or controls. This procurement is for the purchase of hosting services, software and licenses to enable IT Assist to manage and provide public use kiosks over a potential 5 year contract. Over the life of this contract, IT Assist may require up to maximum of 200 licenses. IT Assist will order licenses throughout the contract as and when there is a business need and cannot guarantee the amount of licenses that are purchased. All licenses purchased throughout the life of the contract must be coterminous with the initial purchase date. The competition does not cover the procurement of any kiosk hardware or operating system licenses. IT Assist will deploy and support this service on a day to day basis. There is no need for external professional services or consultancy to deploy and configure software. Contract for software, licenses, and hosting for an initial period of 2 years with 3 optional extension periods of 12 months.
