This is a framework for the supply and delivery of fresh marinated chicken products & other associated products direct to individual establishments administered by Shropshire Council (Shire Services) being located in Shropshire, Hereford & Worcester, Walsall and North Wales. Please note that delivery is currently made by The Little Food Company for the North Wales Area.The marinated chicken products to be supplied must be:-— fresh meat not reshaped or processed— must be leg or thigh meat with no skin, bone or sinew— ingredients must be free of artificial additives or colourings— all meat used must be reared to RSPCA welfare or Freedom Food Standards or EU equivalentOther products to be supplied under this arrangement include (but are not limited to) coated chicken products, a variety of bread/wraps, meal concepts and curry sauces.The contract will be for an initial period of 2 years commencing on 1.3.2014 with the option to extend for a further period of up to 2 years.Please note other geographical areas maybe added to this arrangement should new business be obtained by the Contracting Authority.
