This project will assess the necessary processes, infrastructure and resources required to facilitate successful reunification of dead cats found by the roadside with their owners. The project is also expected to identify blockers to successful reunification, examples of effective systems already in operation and best practices. The intention is that this information will assist Defra to work with Local Authorities to develop a best practice guide.
