Wrexham County Borough Council, invites you to submit a formal quotation for the undertaking of a transport study looking at options to improve pedestrian and cycle facilities through Stansty Tunnel.The minimum required outputs of the study are:a) Development, testing and analysis of options which if implemented would deliver documented improvements in pedestrian/cycle facilities in this area.b) Identification of preferred solution together with preliminary design/costing and delivery timescales.Note: Although the intention of the study is to provide for improved pedestrian/cycle facilities, this cannot be to the detriment of other road users (within acceptable tolerances). The impacts on other road users must therefore be well documented and form an important consideration in identifying a preferred solution.The time period for completion of the works is anticipated from week commencing the 22nd of December 2010 to 25th February 2011.
