Increasing Provision targeted at the Highest End of the Continuum of Need

The Task & Finish Group for Residential Care under the Ministerial Advisory Group for Improving Outcomes for Looked After Children has a dedicated work stream which is focused on increasing provision targeted at the highest end of the continuum of need.This project will build on key findings/ recommendations in Phase 1, 2 & 3 of the work stream and consider the latest developments via Local Authorities, Health Boards and RPBs linked to the recommendations by the Children’s Commissioner in her No Wrong Door report.As part of the next phase, we would like to appoint a consultant who will:Undertake a review of ICF projects across the RPBs to identify good practice and share lessons learned to help make future plans robust;Produce a feasibility study of RPB funding through ICF and other grants of public provision, to meet Sufficiency (this must include the active involvement by LHBs for integrated care solutions);Make key recommendations for future joint developments. The report will also include an executive summary of no more than 1,500 words.Present the paper to the Task and Finish Group.NOTE: The authority is using eTenderwales to carry out this procurement process.
