Wokingham Borough Council (WBC) is inviting tenders for the provision of an independent advocacy service for adults and young people (16+ years) for both WBC and the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead (RBWM). WBC and RBWM are seeking to develop a single pathway to meet all statutory advocacy requirements. We are inviting a single provider to tender to deliver this service. By working together to commission a single contract with a single point of entry we aim to achieve:— greater coordination of services for customers,— reduction in duplication of services,— efficiencies for the commissioners and provider,— increased sharing of best practice,— development of common protocols,— clear and consistent quality standards.WBC is inviting tenders for the provision of independent advocacy services for adults and young people, namely:— Independent Mental Capacity Advocate/Relevant Persons Paid Representative,— Care Act Advocacy,— NHS Complaints Advocacy,— Independent Mental Health Act Advocacy.
