DCC have been successful in securing a grant from the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) and Welsh Government to deliver PestSmart.PestSmart is a pan Wales initiative working with a range of stakeholders encourages people to consider ‘smarter’ ways of weed, pest and disease control that do not impact on people, water or wildlife.A requirement exists to tender for an Independent Review and Evaluation of that initiative.The evaluation study must follow and adhere to Welsh Government’s Evaluation Guidance for Co-operation and Supply Chain Development Scheme Projects (January 2018).DCC will be able to provide data and evidence of key PestSmart activities for the review to the successfully appointed contractor as required.
