Essex County Council (“the Council”) conducted a procurement exercise to secure a range of effective, reliable and efficient providers to deliver individual packages of educational support services to enable the authority to meet its statutory responsibilities to provide suitable education for children of compulsory school age, who due to exclusion or otherwise are unable to attend school.This procurement was conducted under the light touch regime and incorporates a refresh mechanism to enable new entrants to apply to join the framework which is anticipated to be enacted at the 2 year anniversary of the service.This procurement incorporated the following 4 lots:Lot 1: Tuition Services;Lot 2: Vocational Services;Lot 3: Virtual Learning Services; andLot 4: Early Intervention Re-integration Services.
