Infoblox DDI Upgrade
Descriptions
Nottingham Trent University has approximately 30,000 students and 4,000 staff spread across three campuses; City, Clifton and Brackenhurst campuses. The NTU network relies on the Infoblox DNS, DHCP, IPAM (DDI) platform/system to provide these critical services in order that clients can communicate with other machines and services connected to the NTU IT Network and servers, clients, and services can be found by their names. The service Infoblox delivers demands the network is resilient and able to continue to provide services with minimal disruption should an equipment of circuit failure occur. The solution as implemented provides resilience, with the City based Infoblox being the primary DDI system (Grid Master), Clifton being the 'failover' DDI system (Grid Master Candidate) and Brackenhurst having its own dedicated DHCP appliance.
