Information Sharing and Service Modelling Session for Learning Disabilities

Bridgend County Borough Council would like to invite domiciliary care & support providers to an information sharing session, in order to help the Council shape and develop the service models for learning disability supported living and local day services. The Council’s vision is to work with providers who share our social care values of providing high quality services that deliver value for money and supports long term sustainable employment and training opportunities as well as involvement in community activities. As such we are looking to work with partner agencies that support and promote our social care principles of delivering services which enables, empowers, supports and encourages people to live independently through the delivery of the Service.The Council is currently developing plans which will transform learning disability services in Bridgend. This session will give partners the opportunity to find out about the exciting remodelling programme, help define the models for the future and explore the challenges ahead.The event will take place at 1pm on the 17th July 2014 at the Grand Pavilion in Porthcawl.
